Client Event: Introduction to Silversmithing

Art Koeninger will be teaching an Introductory Silversmithing class at Indian Valley Mines:

  • Fri. Nov. 9, 6-9 pm,
  • Sat. Nov. 10, 9 am-5 pm, and
  • Sunday, Nov.11, 1-5 pm.

 
Class Cost is $125, + materials. Fee includes use of tools, and supplies, such as solder and saw blades.  Silver and some simple stones are provided at cost. Average project is $5-15. You may bring your own stones or silver.

Class limited to 12 students.

 The class will be at the home of Roger and Arlene Cowles -- next door to  Indian Valley Mine & Gifts MP 104, SEWARD HWY  Call Arlene Cowles, ph. 653-1120 if you have any questions about the facilities.

 The AMI Center is very excited about helping promote the work of our Alaskan artists. We are thrilled to share with you the opportunities to learn from these masters and express your creative side.

 

Art Koeninger is also a gallery owner who helps Jen-Ann Kirchmeier and other women sell their art. If you, or anyone you know is interested in being in the OMNI Gallery show here at the YWCA Anchorage on December 5, pass the word on that we are opening hearts to the arts!
