A member of the Anchorage East Rotary Club, Al Bramstedt was born in
Fairbanks and moved to
Anchorage in the 50's. He graduated from
Anchorage West High School, and UAA. Al has made a career of broadcast.
Over his career, he has been awarded many honors, including Broadcaster
of the Year in 1987, induction into the Broadcaster Hall of Fame in
1992, and Rotary's Lifetime Achievement Award
On Saturday, December 1, Al will give a 90 minute presentation outlining
the five reasons groups fail, and the eight things they need to have to
succeed. Al will cover the five rules for individual success, including
the most important quality you can bring to your job and the most
important communication skill.
Al will provide real life examples from his mentor as well as an
American P.O.W. This workshop is geared toward young professionals from
ages 18-30. The work-shop will last until approximately 12:00pm and
snacks/refreshments will be pro- vided free of cost. This workshop will
be held at the UAA Library, Room 302A
