The Women$Finances staff will be conducting telephone surveys over the next few weeks. If we call you, please take some time to respond to our questions. We are excited to know how you're doing and how we can better serve you.  All respondents will be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift card at Orso Ristorante.

"Discover how art works for women"

M3 - Marketplace, Matchmaking and Meetup

Creativity will be featured on the First Friday evening of every month at the AMI Center. An open invitation is extended to people who want to share their artistic expressions or showcase a product or service they are passionate about. This casual gathering starts at 4:30 PM and there is no fee for participants or presenters. Pieces for display can be brought by the AMI Center anytime, however entrepreneurs who would like showcase their products or services in the marketplace should schedule a strategy session with Joyce Allegra, Microenterprise Business Counselor.

 

All of the Friday events are free of charge, but space is limited. So, please RSVP by emailing Karen at least two days prior.


 

The AMI Center is a project of the YWCA Anchorage Women$Finances program and a national model for the YWCA USA's Hallmark Program of Economic Empowerment for Women.  The mission of the YWCA is to eliminate racism and empower women. The Women$Finances mission is to create an atmosphere of self-empowerment for women of diverse ethnic and social backgrounds so they can become economically self-sufficient.
